How We Collect Data

We collect data you share with us directly, such as information you enter into our contact form. Certain information is also recorded automatically (or after you consent) when you visit the Site.

What We Collect

This may include name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message, along with technical details like browser type, operating system, access time, IP address, approximate location (city/country), and usage data (pages visited, time on site, clicks).

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies for Preferences

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and improve your experience. You can configure your browser to notify you about cookies or block them. If cookies are disabled, some Site features may not work properly.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our Site, including approximate location and usage patterns. Google Analytics may collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, and browsing behavior under Google's privacy practices.

We may use analysis tools to evaluate aggregated browsing patterns and improve the Site. You can control analytics through your cookie preferences.

Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland) to manage and deploy analytics and advertising tags. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles or store cookies; it only loads other tools. However, it may process technical data such as your IP address. Where required, we use it on the basis of your consent.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Limited) helps us analyze usage patterns (e.g., pages viewed, time on page, device and browser details, and approximate location). It uses cookies or similar technologies to recognize devices and can transfer data to Google servers, including in the United States. We use Google Analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your cookie preferences.

Where applicable, transfers to the U.S. may be based on safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can also use Google’s opt-out tools to limit Analytics data collection.

Plug-ins and Tools

YouTube (Enhanced Privacy Mode)

We plan to embed YouTube videos (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland). When you visit a page with an embedded video, a connection to YouTube servers may be established and YouTube may learn which page you visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

We use YouTube’s enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, videos played in this mode are not used to personalize browsing on YouTube, and ads are not personalized. Cookies may not be set until you play a video, although local storage elements may still be used for recognition. Further processing may occur once a video is activated.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to present content in an appealing way. If consent is required, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Google Fonts (Local Embedding)

We use Google Fonts locally. The fonts are installed on our server, so no connection to Google’s servers is required when you visit our Site.

Why We Use Data

  • Provide the Site and ensure error-free delivery.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • Improve our services, content, and user experience.
  • Analyze usage patterns and performance.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Site (such as analytics and hosting providers). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Hosting

Our website is hosted on Hostinger. Your information may be stored on Hostinger’s servers and processed to provide hosting services. We only share data with processors under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Contact Form

If you contact us via the form, we store the details you submit to handle your request and to respond to any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your consent unless required by law.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected. If you request deletion or withdraw consent, we will delete your data unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

Legal Basis and Consent

We process data based on your consent (for example, analytics cookies), to fulfill your request, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site. You can withdraw consent at any time through your cookie preferences or by contacting us. Your withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it took effect.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. Transmission via the internet can have security gaps, and no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Legal Bases (GDPR / TDDDG)

If you have given consent, we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where special categories of data are involved, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. If you explicitly consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, processing is additionally based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. If you consent to the storage of cookies or the access to information on your device, processing is additionally based on Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent at any time.

If processing is necessary to fulfill a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If processing is required to comply with a legal obligation, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Processing may also be based on our legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The specific legal basis for each processing activity is described in the relevant sections of this Privacy Policy.

Transfers to Third Countries and the U.S.

We use, among other technologies, tools from companies located in third countries that are not considered secure under data protection law, as well as U.S. tools whose providers are not certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). If these tools are enabled, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these countries. Please note that in such third countries, a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed.

The U.S. is generally recognized as a secure third country when the recipient is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) or provides appropriate additional safeguards. Information on transfers to third countries, including the data recipients, can be found in the relevant sections of this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

  • Request information about your data, its source, recipients, and purpose (free of charge).
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.
  • Request restriction of processing in certain cases.
  • Object to certain processing activities where applicable.
  • Request data portability where technically feasible.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority in your place of residence, work, or where the alleged violation occurred, if applicable.

Recipients of Personal Data

In the scope of our business activities, we cooperate with external parties. We disclose personal data only where required to fulfill a contract, where we are legally obligated (e.g., to tax authorities), where we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or where another legal basis permits the disclosure. When using processors, we only disclose data based on a valid data processing agreement. In cases of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.

Revocation of Consent

Many data processing activities are only possible with your consent. You may revoke your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your revocation.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you object, we will no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data are processed for direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time. If you object, your data will no longer be used for direct marketing (Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. You may request transfer to another controller where technically feasible.

Information, Rectification, and Erasure

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to request information about your stored personal data, their source and recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as to request rectification or erasure.

Right to Restrict Processing

You have the right to request restriction of processing, for example if you contest the accuracy of your data, if processing is unlawful and you oppose deletion, if we no longer need the data but you require it for legal claims, or if you have objected under Art. 21(1) GDPR and the balancing of interests is pending.
